Rosemary is the author of two non-fiction books – a biography and a travel memoir, plus several short pieces published in anthologies. An Island girl (Vancouver Island that is), Rosemary lived her childhood and teen years in logging camps and small towns. After high school, she moved to the big city – Victoria – for university. A few years later, she moved to the City of Vancouver where she worked and raised her family, and discovered the outlet of writing. Upon “retirement,” she re-enrolled full-time in university to further explore her writing visions. This led to the 2014 publication of “Prairie Seas, Mountain Harvest,” a biography/memoir written in honour of her one and only elementary school teacher. Rosemary now writes from various places in her house (couch, desk, kitchen table) which is located in Delta, B.C.
